Gavin Reese’s sole mission is to create an environment of shared learning and financial growth for both his colleagues and clients alike. He has a strong passion to dig deep and gain an unparalleled understanding of what is financially important both personally and professionally in their lives. Once achieved a strategy is put in place that will facilitate attainment, prosperity and preservation for generations to come.
After graduating from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science and minor in Business, Gavin found his calling and began his journey in the financial services industry in January of 2000 with Mutual of New York. His client-centric and value driven focus catered to his client’s needs and goals providing a truly holistic approach to the process. In early 2003 Gavin was pulled back into the family painting business due to the untimely passing of his father at 51 years of age as a result of esophageal cancer. There, Gavin took the reigns and expanded the business from its sole focus in the residential repaint markets expanding into the New Residential and Commercial painting market segments. Here he secured contracts with likes throughout the Metro and LI New York geography.
Gavin continued running the business until September of 2010 where he followed his passion for helping people and love of the construction industry and made the transition in joining Fortune 500 ranked, The Sherwin Williams Co. in the general building materials industry. Here, Gavin wore the hats of many titles including Senior Sales Representative, Branch Manager, Sales Manager and City Manager. Through proven results, Gavin created a track record of numerous Circle of Excellence awards including Leaders Club and Presidents Club. He earned Rookie of the Year honors, The Eastern Division prestigious “You Make the Difference” award, highlighting success in both sales & profit while becoming a mentor and trainer to new and established employees in the company.
In Late 2019, Gavin came to a crossroads in his life and had a deep look in the mirror moment. “I am a firm believer that we each only have one life and it’s not to be taken for granted or wasted. As I reflected on my life’s direction, I asked myself, at my core, was this what I am truly passionate about and meant to do?” This simple question lead him back down the path of re-entering the Financial Services industry and again embracing his calling with the likeminded firm of Center for Wealth Preservation (CWP). “My life’s work has guided me to this moment. In my previous role, I have lead large teams. I have managed millions of dollars. I have built a business from the ground up and helped scale existing business in preparation for exponential growth. There is no better time than now to renter this space and assist those lives I encounter enabling them to progress in life as they rightfully should.”

Gavin is married to his wonderful wife Suzanne and have two children together, a 13 year old daughter Morgan and a 10 year old son Liam. They reside in Sayville, NY. Gavin is an active member in his community. As a former Division I men’s basketball player, Gavin enjoys coaching both CYO basketball, volleyball and flag football. Gavin is also a committed and active member if the LIBI/LIHBC organization where he sits on the associate council board.
