Harley Gordon spoke at the MassMutual Long Island Metro Agency Meeting in Syosset, NY, on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017.
Harley has been a keynote speaker at many consumer events as well as financial and insurance industry events including the Financial Planning Association (FPA), National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
He focused on Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance, and about changing the terms of the conversation that allow agents to engage the most difficult demographic in the LTC Insurance, Life & Disability Insurance demographic, which is healthy men.
His ideas were innovative and challenged the existing ideas on how to sell LTC Insurance starting with, “you shouldn’t be selling insurance, you should be selling advice”.
